Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m psychic (and so are you).
I seem to have always had an insatiable curiosity for understanding what it really means to be human. In particular, I believe there’s much more to be explored and understood about the origins and functions of the human mind and consciousness in general. I like to view the human experience through a post-materialist lens, and am intrigued by the fact modern scientists have yet to understand how the human brain can create consciousness. The science just keeps pointing to the idea that it cannot. They know our brain has mechanisms for retrieving memories and information, though even now they must admit they’ve no idea where this information is actually stored for later retrieval. Whether you’re here to request a reading, as a skeptic interested in exploring the mindset of believers of psychic ability or as a practitioner excited to normalize this conversation with me, thanks for being here. We may not have enough advances in understanding the forces of the universe which explain how– but the evidence does suggest psychic events are very real and their implications seem to be encouraging for the health and wellness of those who experience them. My hope is to eventually interview some of these scientists on 8th House Healers podcast!
Through my clinical practice in pediatric rehabilitation I’ve developed deep respect for using an evidence-based approach to providing support to my community. You can imagine this model gets tricky to use when offering intuitive services, as peer-reviewed research in this field is few and far between. However more difficult to find, there are in fact many scientists trying to shift the narrative around the mainstream conversation and study of topics such as understanding the origin and potential of human consciousness, currently unexplained anomalous phenomenon or examples of psychic ability and how these topics may inform the human condition and our search for a more collectively peaceful existence.
